Greetings!

There is always so much to do I never know where to start. I have trouble finding the time I need to get every thing done. I see so many beautiful quilts come in the store I don't know how everyone gets the time set aside. Then it dawned on me!!! Stop sleeping..... O.K. maybe not, so, I am giving myself 30 minutes everyday for quilting. I deserve it and I think you do too. The woman that quilts seems to be happier. Have you ever heard of happy wife, happy life? Well, I am happier if I can sew. How about you?

There is a great reproduction block of the month from Windham/Baum fabrics called Generals' Wives. This is a wonderful quilt that pays tribute to women in history. Each month when you pick up your block you can read about wonderful women that helped change our history. It is really interesting and the quilt is oh so beautiful! Please come join us. Looking for ten women!!! Cost is $24.95 per month.

Each month I hope to entice you with classes that interest you. If I do not, I would like it if you would let me know what interests you. If there is something that you would like to learn and I cannot teach you the class, I will try my best to find a teacher that can. Please feel free to ask and I promise I will try to fill your request.

There is also a change in pin cushion club. We will not be doing pin cushions any more unless it's really cute. We are doing whatever the girls vote on. You bring in an idea and if it looks like fun we go for it. Next month it could be anything, an apron, a dish towel, place mats, or maybe a table runner. Maybe something to organize something or an Ipod case. It's up to you to come up with the best idea. This is your quilt shop. It's for you to have fun !!!
